Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety disorders are a group of mental health conditions characterised by excessive fear, worry, or nervousness that can interfere with a person’s ability to function in daily life. While it’s normal to feel anxious in certain situations, such as before an important event or during a challenging task, individuals with anxiety disorders experience these feelings in a more persistent, intense, and overwhelming way. The anxiety may not be connected to a specific event or threat and can become debilitating.
